Cheers to the 80s

Why am I scribbling about the 80s? These were the formative years of my life, straight out of Comm Arts in UST (Batch 1981) and up to the years before I worked for CITEM (Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions).

So much happened during this decade, which includes dates in Dean St. Café with Chief and even my first overseas trip to HK with Rene Bernal.

Yesterday, when the GMA TV crew was at our Greenhome for the “Mel & Joey” shoot, my friends and I got back to looking back at old pictures, mostly from the 80s.

These pictures include my snapshots of history during the 1986 EDSA Revolution. And all the gimmicks in between in between Madonna and pacman!

Thus, this dedicated 80s blog is born. Whether it be about music (when MTV was first born) to television (Miami Vice) and to all the friends with whom much memories had been shared through the 80s.

Cheers to the 80s!
